your windows pc occasionally freezes with a dark bar appearing on the right side of the screen, followed by increased fan noise. the cause isn't clear yet, but it seems to happen suddenly.

Consider reinstalling Windows. Also, avoid changing the font settings—keep them set to auto for better readability under the night theme.

I typically emphasize the relevant part. Please reinstall your drivers and verify that your PC fans are set properly.

What are your system specs? Checking disk health, HDD temperature, CPU temperature, and RAM capacity might help identify any overheating issues.
