Okay so i did a clean install of windows 10 and put the programs i wanted. However I have encountered a bug where the first pinned program in the taskbar disappears. It reappears only if I click on the arrow of the notification area. It is not that bothersome but is there a fix? FYI: Do not want to do clean install again

I've faced similar problems where my taskbar extends beyond the screen after sleeping and waking up. Notifications vanish, and part of the clock screen disappears. Eventually, I resort to opening Task Manager and restarting the Windows explorer process.

I also attempted it, but it didn’t function properly. Just the arrow next to the notification area clicks, not anything else.

Is this occurring when the Task View button remains active? Click the taskbar and choose: "Display Task View button".

Those numbers are the taskbar icons, showing your current applications and system status.

Discovered a fix to hide the Cortana search button. Once that was done, the first pinned shortcut remained visible.
