I saved the media creation tool on my little brother’s laptop since I just set up my PC and needed the USB to start Windows 10 Pro setup. After downloading, it ran smoothly, I picked the options, chose USB with 8GB, and waited about six hours before it began preparing. Is there an issue or is this delay normal?

He already has Windows 10 installed, but I’m just transferring it to his computer. I don’t have the USB drive ready yet.

Save the file as an ISO and use Rufus to install it onto your USB drive.
