I enjoy the game but I’m facing a peculiar problem... I can’t maintain 60 FPS even with 1080p low settings. My i7-4790 quad-core is running at full speed constantly. Did the game really require such high performance from a quad-core processor?

The game is consuming a significant amount of CPU, but another program might be using it too. You can check the Task Manager sorted by CPU usage to see which process is consuming the most resources.

Are you serious? This game can hit a 6900X at full resolution in 1080p—it’s incredibly well-optimized.

Is it truly that serious? They definitely need to improve this.

It seems you're curious about something unusual. What do you think it is?

I'm having issues with my 1070. It feels like the optimization isn't great, which is a shame because it could be much better if the graphics were smoother.

Haha, I got the game on release day and stopped right away because it had terrible graphics for my setup. I ended up putting it off for a while.

It didn<|pad|> a bit with my 4790k, still around 80% at 4.7ghz. But I’m pushing 1440P on 1080, possibly more GPU-heavy. Maybe bumping the settings would shift the load from CPU. My Ryzen isn’t hitting its limit, so a 6900k might struggle if pushed too far.
