Issue with visuals following GPU driver update
System details: Xeon E3 1280V3 (Haswell 4c8t, essentially an i7 4770 with no onboard, and strict clock limits) paired with an EVGA 980 Gigabyte H97-D3H motherboard featuring a 32GB DDR3 SATA SSD boot drive (Crucial MX500 256gb). Three 1080p monitors are connected to the GPU. The GPU driver used is version 472.12, the standard edition from NVidia's site. MSI Afterburner was installed since this was a retired gaming rig. The problem arises when performing screen animations—effects appear sluggish and don’t render correctly. For instance, when moving the mouse away from the task bar, the bottom third disappears and flickers. No games are installed; Minecraft is being tried to verify functionality. GPU temperatures remain stable (around 30°C idle, 65°C under load), and the CPU hasn’t been overclocked, though it was previously boosted to +250 cores and +400 memory with power limits applied. DDU was used to install the driver, replacing the earlier 465 driver.
