Issue with visual instability in the Ryzen 5600G during Fortnite gameplay
Yesterday I played Fortnite as usual, but now a weird visual glitch appears. I tried it in other games (UE4), reset my system, updated APU/chipset drivers, yet the issue remains. In CS:GO it doesn’t happen. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
Your character's model parts appear and disappear due to insufficient VRAM. How much memory has been allocated to your 5600G in the BIOS? Are you playing in Performance Mode or using DX11/DX12? With a 5600G, it’s best to use Performance Mode for better FPS, even though it may look less smooth. I’ve seen videos demonstrating different settings. Performance Mode generally provides higher FPS, but keeping the iGPU memory usage low can also enable DX11/DX12 functionality.
I attempted several changes but nothing improved. The VRAM setting in the BIOS didn’t fix the issue, and even adjusting game settings hasn’t helped. It’s been about 3–4 days since I last played normally, and now I’m completely confused about what’s wrong. This seems different from other games (except on UE4) that run fine with medium-max graphics.
