It simply changes the frame width to 2048 without any adjustment options. I’m unable to increase it further; it only reduces.

The issue remains consistent across formats. Adjusting to 1080p in MP4 doesn't resolve the problem. You might need to modify other settings. I verified WMV too—it only supports up to 2048p.

It's not the case. I use an 1080p 60 preset for rendering non-gameplay videos, and it performs well. I can also utilize my GPU with that setting. Could you assist me? I need to switch to 1440p 60 for this upload.

Adjust your project's resolution to 2560x1440. When rendering in WMV, maintain the original size instead of selecting a new resolution. Even though it displays 2048x1440, the final video should appear at 2560x1440.

Absolutely, you're correct. Only a handful of effects utilize the GPU in Vegas.

My camera is 1080p at 30fps, but will it still work as 1440p at 60fps? I'm away from home soon and plan to return on the 27th. Thanks for the reply—it gives me hope, though I'm still learning video editing.

I completed a straightforward project—a 1440p video at 60 frames per second—paired with a lower-resolution version at 30 FPS for your facecam. The outcome was a smooth 60 FPS 1440p file using the smaller one at 30 FPS, which worked well without any issues.
