Issue with VGA video input connection in Shadow of Mordor on GTX 950 graphics card
I'm experiencing a loss of video input when launching Shadow of Mordor. Other games function normally at their native resolutions—900p or 1080p—and only this game behaves differently after upgrading to Windows 10 and installing GeForce Experience. I set the monitor to 1080p, but the issue started after that change. I discovered the problem was linked to GeForce Experience's unusual resolution settings. I tried reverting back to my monitors' default resolution, which fixed the issue for all games except Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. (StarCraft II, Left Fur Dead 2, and Heroes of the Storm also worked.) My question is, what exactly is causing this problem beyond just the resolution? It only happens with this game after installing Windows 10 and GeForce Experience. Before that, everything ran smoothly with the Steam Controller and working settings. I also experimented with editing the settings file using Notepad, switching to a windowed view—which helped—but I don’t want to play in that mode. Changing to fullscreen caused the video input to disappear again. Any advice would be appreciated!
