Check your setup carefully. Make sure the VGA cable is properly connected to the motherboard and GPU. If it still doesn’t work, try removing the GPU and see if the issue persists. Disconnecting the GPU might help isolate whether the problem lies with the card or the connection.

I aim to clarify your goal. Connecting a monitor to the motherboard allows it to use the CPU’s built-in graphics, not the integrated graphics. Confirm if this is the intended setup.

You aim for this because the integrated graphics will be significantly less powerful than the GT 210.

The I3-4170 integrated GPU performs less powerfully compared to the GT210.

Sure thing. It's tough to locate solid benchmarks for graphics hardware at this point. Neither of these systems is expected to provide a satisfying experience beyond simple 2D indie titles, though I can share what I know.

I notice a gamer on YouTube using an i3-4170 with 8GB RAM. You want to run Genshin Impact and Warhammer 40k in lower settings but need to detach your GT210 card. For your H81M-D motherboard, you can safely remove the integrated GPU and use the dedicated one. Just ensure your power supply supports the new setup.

Begin by loosening the latch on the PCIe port, remove the screw securing the PCIe bracket at the rear of the chassis, and extract the card from the motherboard.

Thank you, sir. I hope my games run smoothly at 720p. I’m planning to buy a GT 1030 soon. Do you think I only need to update the software once, even if I don’t remove the GPU drivers?
