Issue with unusual gray display on some games (troubleshooting needed)
Hey, I’m facing some strange problems with certain games. They randomly crash, showing a grey screen and some odd dots before restarting. This has been happening on my PC for a while after upgrading to AMD components. It used to occur in CS2 when using GPU scaling in stretched resolution, but only in specific areas of BG3 every time. In farming sim 22 it happens randomly after a random delay, but this time there’s no noise. I also experienced a similar issue on my desktop where I’d crash without any warning sounds. Earlier, after buying an NVIDIA 3070, I noticed fans would speed up and I had to manually restart the PC. I’m not sure if it’s connected, but I recently reinstalled Windows from a previous version and got stuck in Windows 10. I’ve tried several fixes—reinstalling OS, using DDU to remove drivers, disabling overclocking, changing RAM speed, adjusting color depth, turning off AMD features—but nothing seems to work consistently. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
