Hi everyone, i'm having weird framerate issues on some "heavier" games, particularly on the most recent ones(CoD Cold war, Modern warfare and Apex). For example on Cold War even tho the fps counter says 70-80 fps, the game doesn't feel as smooth as it should be, it feel more like i was doing something like 40-50 fps and i don't understand why, it even cause some slight input delay. I tried messing up with some settings but the results weren't that great, the only thing that helped a little bit was the v-sync or lowering the resolution, but even in that case when the game gets more hectic it still doesn't feel really smooth. I already tried reinstalling the drivers and the game but it didn't work and i wanted to ask if someone could help me with this problem. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help me.
My specs:
Ryzen 5 2600
Zotac mini Gtx 1060 6gb
16 gb ram 3200 mhz
ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS

Turning off or adjusting the Vsync setting, reducing resolution, and encountering issues mainly during intense activity suggest the settings might be too high for your hardware. Remember, FPS meters only display average rates. It’s better to use MSI Afterburner to show minimum frames, helping you see exactly how low frames drop, which leads to microstutter and further problems.

I have a friend whose specs are worse than mine, but they run the game much smoother without this issue of 60 fps not being smooth. In fact, I was confused about the cold war FPS measurement at one point, so I tried using MSI afterburner (and the FPS measurement turned out right), but I didn't enable the minimum frames setting, so I'll give it a shot and let you know, thank you very much.

Run userbenchmark and provide the public link to the results.

Just checking if your RAM is set to XMP mode to reach its maximum speed. Not doing this might lead to issues since Ryzen CPUs, particularly the older ones, require quick RAM performance. Failure to do so could result in micro stutters and delays.

Hi, thank you for your message. I've already tried it and got a bit more FPS, but the overall experience remains the same. The only improvement comes from lowering the resolution, though even then, with lots on screen or during intense gameplay, the lag still lingers.

It looks like your GPU is being overclocked. Restart it to the default settings to check if performance improves. Downclocking might also be causing the stuttering you notice.
