Issue with TP Link Archer tx3000e losing connection
I bought this network adapter recently and installed it on my PC. No matter how I adjust the settings, it always loses connection. I lowered the wireless speed from AX to AC to N to G but the issue persists. After reinstalling the Intel drivers, it still keeps dropping. Could you give me any suggestions on what might be causing this?
Sorry for the delayed response. My job sometimes needs me to stay overnight at work, which means I don’t get to be home. My router has strong signal strength, and the only barrier between me and it is a wooden plant in the room below where my PC is located. I’ve double-checked everything is properly connected and there’s nothing loose. The connection drops seem to happen randomly, not at regular intervals, and even after changing the settings, it didn’t work. I’ve tried all possible solutions, thinking maybe my router simply doesn’t support AX connections.
Adjusted to Medium level with a rating of 3 out of 5. No changes made before; I disabled it recently to test if that improves things.
I’ll definitely test the aggressiveness and tweak the settings if the driver update doesn’t help. I’m really wondering what TP Link is up to with the driver download from their site—it’s about 100MB bigger than the one from Intel. Thanks for your support so far. I can handle most PC issues, but networking feels a bit tricky for me.
