I woke up one morning and attempted to open throttlestop, which had been functioning the previous day. However, it opened with the error "could not open WinRing0.dll." I learned that the new Riot anti-cheat software blocks it, so I removed it and throttlestop worked for a day. Now I try running it again and still get the same error even without the anti-cheat installed. I resolved the problem by adjusting Windows Defender settings and disabling core isolation.
