I'm using an iPad and the Mac manages the SMB, but Airdrop worked fine with your tips. It turns out I didn't have enough storage even though I thought I did. You probably need extra space for Airdrop. Thanks a lot for your assistance! The Airdrop feature was before I tried SMB—it handled the same files, so you fixed it!
