My family recently received The Lord of the Rings collection on blue ray. Each of the three movies works on the first disc, but the second one causes an incorrect format error. There’s no visible damage to any disks. We use a Samsung Blu-ray player; I’ve reset it and tried connecting to the internet, but nothing seems to function properly.

I can capture sharp, clear images of both Discs 1 and 2 from any movie you choose. I’m also able to take photos of the DVD case exterior if needed. It looks like you’re wondering if the discs might differ in region, so feel free to ask about that too.

We tested it the following morning and it functioned properly. I'm even more puzzled now but at least it works. (From what I understand, there aren't any area labels on the case or the disks. Also, the disks are very reflective, making it difficult to read the text in person or on a photo.)
