Issue with the operating system. (Probably...)
Hello everyone, I’m dealing with an issue with my iSpotter. After pausing the mouse for a couple of minutes, my CPU usage spikes to 100%. It happens even when I’m not using a desktop or watching videos on YouTube. This is on a new PC I built recently (month +-), and it seems like the problem started after the Windows 11 updates. I checked Task Manager, but nothing showed up—usage stayed around 3%. After closing Task Manager, it returned to normal. I found out that when I do nothing and stay idle, the usage hits 100%, but opening Task Manager or moving the mouse brings it back down. I opened the "Reasurce tracking" option in Task Manager and believe that’s what triggered it. I’ve attached what I discovered. It looks like a file or program, but I’m not sure what it is. Thanks for any help! (By the way, my English isn’t great.) Operating system: Windows 11 Pro 21H2 22000. Processor: i5 13600K (not sure if GPU is the issue, just to confirm it’s an OC for RTX 4070). Machine: Gigabyte Z690 gaming DDR4.
I didn't consider it since my PC is brand new and I haven't used the internet much lately—just played games like Dying Light, Cyberpunk, and WoT. Should I reinstall Windows?
Also consider using Malwarebytes, bring a USB that isn’t linked to the current PC, and create a bootable Windows USB on another machine using a new ISO from Microsoft.
Start the Windows installation and format the drive at that stage
