I have a old dell inspiron 15 7569 that my family bought and i was messing around with it, but then i realize that no sound will work. i am live booting kali on it and windows but neither have working sound decides if i do reboot in the terminal on kali it does make a beep, but otherwise no audio will work. Also bluetooth audio does work tho.

I haven’t handled an Inspiron yet, but we only purchase Dell computers for my use. I’d go to the Dell support page, input your Service Tag, and verify you have the most recent audio drivers installed.
