Since last Thursday I've faced network problems with Rocket League. My connection is stable on 5GHz Wi-Fi, but after that it becomes unreliable. I noticed frequent teleportation issues and periodic download interruptions lasting about four seconds. Checking Task Manager revealed the download pauses and resumes. This behavior also occurred when I downloaded a game from Steam. Someone might know the source of the problem?

Interference, maybe? Check the spectrum of your surrounding wifi for interference. 5 GHz are getting widespread nowadays. Or, use wired connection. It's the most reliable way to play latency-intensive applications somehow.

Conduct a wireless scan with WiFi Analyzer and save the images of the 'Networks' and 'Analyze' pages (2.4GHz and 5GHz). Emphasize your network. Check if another device shares the same network at that moment. Look for background apps like Windows Update that could be downloading. State your router’s brand, model, and distance from you. Note any obstacles such as walls or floors.

The app shows only your connection on every channel, eliminating interference issues. Other gadgets aren’t showing problems either, as online gaming runs smoothly. Your router is a Tp-Link Archer C6 purchased early this year.

I believe I located the issue. I entered the ISP modem's IP address and activated its 5GHz band. Connecting directly resolved the random interruptions. The problem could be with the router.
