Bought a Predator Helios two months back and observed that even when charging to 80%, it occasionally reaches 100%. This seems to occur infrequently, perhaps once a month. Is this typical?

You'd need to consult the maker for clarification. The device might adjust its readings based on reaching 100%, allowing it to determine the 80% mark.
