You'll likely need to swap the HDMI connection. If you're unsure or lack the right tools, consider using DisplayPort instead unless you specifically require HDMI 2.1 for 4K@120. A nearby electronics repair shop might handle it. You can follow along to understand the process. Be extra cautious with your valuable devices!

It’s okay if the HDMI connection isn’t perfect—swapping it should be simple. Also, the 3080 is a big investment, costing over $1,000.

Check if the pins are warped. Gently attempt to realign them.

With the right equipment and understanding, it's quite simple, isn't it?

It’s not too painful to give it a shot. Just make sure you’re precise about where you place the metal—it shouldn’t cause much trouble. If things go wrong, you can always take it to a repair shop for a computer.

The picture you shared shows the pins in question. I’m not sure if they’re bent or broken, and I don’t have a close-up to confirm. If you can describe the details better or share more photos, I’d be happy to help identify them.

I believe I should visit a tech repair shop, if one exists, because I’m not from the USA and...it’s tough to locate tech products in my country. My monitor is just a TV, and there aren’t any reliable adapters available for dp 1.4 to cdmi 2.1, so I really have no other option.

I'm not sure about the specifics of the CDMI port. The person in the video mentioned certain spacing requirements, but it might need additional considerations beyond that.

They appear straight yet the black casing suggests something is damaged.
