Hello everyone, today while selecting a loadout in Helldivers 2 (not yet available), my system experienced some strange behavior: all outputs would pause for a brief moment, then the screen would go dark for another short time. After waking up, it would usually crash the program and then return to normal for a while before repeating the cycle or requiring a restart. I have a Ryzen 5500 processor, an RX 580 graphics card, and 2x8GB of RAM (this might be useful). I tried several fixes—rebooting, restoring from a point two days ago, re-seating the GPU and RAM, performing a soft reset via Windows settings, and even a hard reset. After installing Bazzite, an immutable Fedora distribution, the problem persisted and possibly worsened. Instead of resuming normally, my computer would display distorted visuals—often white with other colors, sometimes a square appearing on the screen, then blanking repeatedly until I manually power cycled it. I’m not sure if drivers are the cause, since Bazzite should have updated drivers and I had AMD software running constantly. I haven’t encountered any other issues beyond this display problem and the display port concerns I resolved earlier. If you have any suggestions or know what I missed, please let me know so I can get back to you quickly. Thanks, Lawson (seeing images of the issue).

In my view, a dead GPU is a common issue. If you move it to another computer and see the problem, it might help identify the cause.
