Starting the PC building sim for the first time, I encountered an unusual issue where most of the lighting disappeared and the colors appeared distorted. I’ve seen similar problems before and would appreciate any advice on resolving it.

I faced a comparable issue with Life is Strange. I resolved it by using windowed mode. Verify that you haven’t altered any graphics settings in the control panel for both NVIDIA and AMD.

You could incorporate Fullscreenizer during windowed playback to simulate an uninterrupted fullscreen experience. Ideal for alt-tab functionality and games lacking borderless fullscreen support, especially in titles like Sims 2 and 3 where stability matters.

Attempted the fix but the issue continued. After launching the game for the first time and encountering the same problem, I switched the default graphics processor from integrated to dedicated in the control panel. The change didn’t appear to resolve the issue.
