I recently purchased Rainbow Six Siege through Uplay. Whenever I launch the game, it displays a windowed black screen with audio and a clickable menu (I can hear buttons responding when I press enter and use arrow keys). https://gyazo.com/9bd9b4adb735b59dddca9825001c399c I’ve identified the issue as occurring at 970m, where it loads correctly with my Intel 530 graphics but becomes unplayable. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Are there alternative games available? Can I capture your screen?
It seems like you're referring to a 970mm model, likely a laptop. The GPU might be failing.
The laptop is under 4 months old and stays on a cooling pad, which keeps the GPU healthy. Other titles perform well, but Siege is the only one struggling. I can capture my screen using ShadowPlay in any game except Siege, which doesn’t load properly on 1080p or 4K. The MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 4K-053 has a 4K display, possibly causing trouble. Every other screen-related issue in Ubisoft games resolved when Windows was set to 1920x1080. I attempted to run FarCry 3 and 4, both encountered the same problem.
