I've owned an AOC q27g2u/bk display for several years. Recently it began showing problems. For two days I'd restart my PC and everything functioned fine, then leave and return to find a gray screen. Connecting the DP cable to another GPU port restored the image. On the third day, when I powered on the monitor directly, the issue persisted. I've tried various fixes: switching cables, using HDMI, connecting to another PC, adjusting refresh rates, and even resetting the OSD. Settings in Windows, NVIDIA control panel, or OS settings have also caused the screen to go black.

I've encountered a comparable issue, but inserting the cable back resolves it. I'm using HDMI. Also, are both of your GPUs capable of doing that?

Confirmed, tested both HDMI and DP connections on each GPU.

It seems the issue might lie elsewhere, possibly with the motherboard.

I also attempted to link it to a laptop and my old PC, but it didn't work.

It could be a monitor or cable issue.

It's definitely a monitor issue as I don't get the AOC logo on power up or see the osd
