They just informed me about a CPU error, but luckily nothing was charged. I don’t notice any beeps, yet the CPU light is lit.

I've switched to a new screen and my motherboard only has one PCIe port. I'm planning to use just one card. Right now I don't have any extra RAM or another motherboard. They didn't do any upgrades, just offered basic troubleshooting help.
