Hello everyone, I recently installed a new SSD today. My old HDD was failing, so I replaced it with this new SSD. Before switching, when I still had the HDD, I frequently encountered 'disk write errors' in Steam. Of course, my HDD was failing (confirmed by CrystaldiskInfo), which led me to suspect the issue was related. Now, with the SSD, I'm also seeing disk write errors, but everything seems normal (checked with Crystaldisk). Additionally, my SSD is experiencing write errors as well, yet it works fine. I think the problem might be connected to Steam, but I'm not entirely sure. I found a website suggesting using 'diskpart' with the command 'attributes disk clear readonly' and listing disks. This might resolve the issue, though I haven't tried it yet. I'm not sure what that command does, so could anyone clarify? Thank you for your help. Any other possible solutions would be appreciated too! P.S. I just upgraded to Windows 10.
