Yes, there is an SSH file without a file extension. The config file lists port 22 for SSH, so you don’t need to worry about port forwarding because you’re not accessing the device from outside your home network.

Yes, you can reach the Pi's IP without issues. You should be able to connect via telnet to port 22 to verify there are no networking problems.
