Hey Guys,
I've looked into various online sources and kept getting redirected to random forums or pages mainly on this site. I'm facing issues where my stream preview freezes in OBS Studio and crashes. After that, I notice popping sounds, slow performance, and high latency readings on LatencyMon. OBS needs to be force-closed. After restarting my PC, everything works again. It happens randomly, with no visible signs in Open Hardware Monitor, no CPU reaching 100%, and normal temperatures.

LatencyMon says:
"Your system seems to struggle with real-time audio and other tasks. You might see buffer underruns, clicks, or pops. Some DPC routines and ISR routines from drivers running in your system are taking too long. At least one network-related issue is detected. If you're using a WLAN adapter, try turning it off for better results. There could be a power management problem—disable CPU throttling in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Also, check for BIOS updates."

I've tried several fixes but am unsure if they resolved the problem.
Specs:
MOBO: ASRock z390 Pro4
OS: Windows 11
CPU: i9-9900k
GPU: 2080 Super
RAM: 32gb 2666mhz
1tb NVM.e
1tb SSD
2tb HDD

_
MEASURED INTERRUPT LATENCIES TO USER PROCESSES
_
The measured latency for processing interrupts reflects the time from when an interrupt service routine begins to respond to a hardware request. This includes scheduling, executing a DPC routine, signaling an event, and waking up a usermode thread from idle after the event.
Highest measured latency to process interrupts (µs): 434.50
Average measured latency to process interrupts (µs): 10.19
Maximum measured latency to DPC (µs): 429.50
Average measured latency to DPC (µs): 7.25
_
Reported ISRs

Interrupt service routines are built-in routines that execute when a hardware interrupt occurs.
Longest ISR execution time (µs): 135.40
Driver with longest ISR execution: dxgkrnl.sys - DirectX Graphics Kernel, Microsoft Corporation
Total ISR time per cycle (%): 0.1669
Driver with highest total ISR time: dxgkrnl.sys - DirectX Graphics Kernel, Microsoft Corporation

_
REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
_
Hard page faults occur when virtual memory is accessed from disk instead of RAM. Resolving these requires reading data from disk while the process is interrupted.
Some audio-related processes may trigger page faults, potentially causing audio drops. Check the Processes tab to identify affected programs.
Most frequently hit process with page faults: msmpeng.exe
Total hard page faults: 38
Processes affected by page faults: 11

It seems you're inquiring about potential solutions for a specific issue. I checked the details provided earlier and found no indication of a fix available. The system is experiencing audio handling difficulties, with noticeable stuttering and latency spikes. It appears that certain DPC routines are running excessively long, possibly due to power management settings. Adjusting these settings in the Control Panel and BIOS might help. LatencyMon detected latency issues at 0:00:17 on all processors. The measured latency values are within acceptable ranges, but the interrupt handling is affected. The highest ISR execution times and DPC durations suggest performance bottlenecks that could be resolved by refining these configurations.
