Hello everyone, I'm facing an issue with my Windows 10. When I try to shut down the system, it powers off unexpectedly. However, when I restart, my apps that were open remain active. Chrome is running even when the PC is on, and it restarts to open Chrome again. I've tried using CMD to shut it down manually, but that worked. I don't want to rely on shortcuts or keep restarting. Anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this? Also, I noticed the PC still draws power when I shut it down using the power button—about 5 to 6 watts. Please help me find a solution. Thanks, Danny.

I reviewed those configurations and the only adjustment I made was that my monitors turn off when I press the power button. That’s not how I normally shut down my PC; I do it through software.

Consider using the "pick where I left off" feature. You can find instructions here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8275...-10-a.html
