A few weeks back a user assembled a new PC featuring a 7900x processor, an Asus ROG Strix X670e-f motherboard, and 64GB of DDR5-6000 RAM. Shortly after setup, the system failed to boot and would repeatedly display memory troubleshooting lights on both the motherboard and CPU. After reseating the CPU, the issue persisted. Testing each RAM stick individually resolved it, so the user gradually added more RAM until all four were installed correctly. After disconnecting and reconnecting everything, the PC finally booted again. A reboot resolved it, but flashing the BIOS didn’t fix the problem. An update to the BIOS was attempted, but the issue remained. The user acknowledges that AM5/Ryzen 7000 chips have extended memory testing times, and they waited over 8 to 10 minutes without success. They are uncertain whether the problem stems from hardware limitations or platform instability. Thanks in advance for your help.

This approach uses a lot of memory. The described method could lead to issues with a faulty RAM slot that isn't the one you've been checking.

It’s feasible, though when it does post all, 64gbs appear, which doesn’t automatically exclude a faulty RAM slot—it just feels improbable to me. But I’m not sure, lol.

Ensure there are no errors in the slots.
