Hey, I see you're experiencing frequent crashes when using Chrome, videos, or running benchmarks. The screen freezes, turns white then black, and eventually restarts. Sometimes it won't boot at all, showing a long beep followed by short beeps before failing. After a hard restart, it boots but drivers are disabled. On other occasions, the VGA LED stays on for about 15 minutes before it works again. RAM passed Memtest86 after a 4-5 hour test. This issue started after updating BIOS to 7b and doing a clean Windows 11 install. Previously, in BIOS F6, the DRAM LED error appeared when shutting down. What should you do?

The system is using the most recent bios information. Zen 4 might feel unstable at first. Also, it’s worth noting that you’re testing integrated graphics performance.

I've installed the newest BIOS for my MB F7b, moving up from F6 which caused issues with my RAM. I didn't run benchmarks on my graphics card—I focused on checking CPU performance with Cinebench. That was my main goal.

Sure, I experimented with three distinct AMD graphics drivers or APU drivers each time you mentioned them... then I upgraded to the most recent chipset drivers.

How are the temperatures? If they're too low, I'd consider returning the CPU. If they're too high, it could indicate a cooling problem that needs fixing.

Weather conditions are typical... idle temps hover between 34°C and 40°C with ambient around 21°C. During live gameplay of Valorant, temperatures reach 50°C to 63°C. The CPU maintains around 5.55Ghz, and the cooler used is a Deepcool AK620 Zero Dark. Note: during tests CPU temperatures peaked at 95°C without throttling.

It looks like the issue might be related to the igpu. Those temperatures are actually quite high. You could file a return or wait for the 3080 to arrive, hoping your igpu works again.

I think I'll wait for the 3080 to arrive and turn off the iGPU... if not, I'll attempt to downgrade my BIOS or try different chipset drivers completely. I almost forgot about trying chipset drivers. Hopefully Gigabyte will release a new BIOS soon that resolves this and allows me to enable XMP. Thanks for the tips!
