Running on Windows 11, the latest build 22621.963. sfc is functioning without issues and everything operates as expected. After restarting, all threads and cores appear to be working properly again ("Normal Behaviour"). Specifics: CPU model Ryzen 7 5800X, motherboard MSI B450 gaming, GPU GeForce RTX 2070, storage Samsung EVO 970, power supply 11,700W, BIOS version 7B86v1I. A screenshot from Task Manager shows processes like hacker 2 and resource monitor CPU overview.

Run the HWmonitor tool and share the CPU data. Focus on the CPU section—snapshots during heavy loads work well, while a simple program provides sufficient details.

If core 1 starts dropping again, rerun HWmonitor to check for dump activity. It could be a faulty chip or a poor connection between the chip and the motherboard, possibly due to improper mounting during assembly. Usually, a real problem would show up as multiple cores failing or the system not booting at all. The simplest solution would be to remount the CPU and carefully inspect all pins for any damage.
