I found something interesting today. I wondered if I could maintain this performance without needing to put my PC to sleep. Usually, when I run Cinebench R23, I see boost clocks between 4.15 and 4.2 GHz all-core on my 5800X3D, scoring around 14300 points. When I put the PC to sleep and then restarted it, the scores jumped to 4.3 GHz all-core with a higher score of 14726. The temperature also increased slightly, which suggests the improvement isn’t due to a reporting glitch. This pattern repeated consistently across multiple runs, with scores exceeding 14700 after waking. Could there be an explanation for this behavior? Is there a BIOS setting on my Asus Tuf X570 Plus that could help sustain better performance without sleep? Or is this just another instance of the Ryzen sleep issue reappearing? I also updated my BIOS recently, including the AGESA 1.2.0.7 patch.
I haven't installed Ryzen Master yet. If you do, removing it might help resolve certain issues.
I have Ryzen Master installed but removed it, restarted the system, and tried again without success. I verified clock speeds in Cinebench before sleep, which hovered between 4.15 and 4.2 GHz as expected. After putting the PC to sleep and waking it, I observed 4.3 GHz across all cores with increased temperatures.
