Hi, I purchased the PC three months ago and am facing an issue with the RAM. The specifications are: Ryzen 5 5600, RX 6750 XT, 12 GB Sapphire PULSE ASUS tuf gaming, B550 Plus, M2, 1 TB SSD, KC3000 PSU, and 850W ROG Strix case. I bought two units separately, not a bundled kit.

The problem is that when I try to adjust the RAM speed in BIOS to 3200 or 3600 MHz, my PC either restarts and brings me back to the BIOS or, if I manage to boot, it crashes with a bluescreen. I only used the XMP profiles I had—both of them—but I reached a stable 3133 MHz. However, it would crash after a few minutes during a CS deathmatch.

I updated the BIOS to the latest version, which recommends 3200 MHz for this model, but I haven’t tried creating a custom profile with custom voltages due to lack of experience. The RAM sticks are installed in the second and third slots.

Should I try pushing the speed even higher to 3200 or 3600 MHz? What should I do? Thanks, Drago.

Run at 3200, maybe the RAM is bad. Consider testing on another system if you can.

The issue is that it wasn't a complete kit, could that be an obstacle?

It's probably due to that issue.

They function well individually. Kits are verified to operate together, though I’d anticipate two units with matching part numbers would perform adequately, particularly at reduced speeds. Perhaps it was just a coincidence. If they run smoothly on their own, lowering the speed to 3000 might be enough to ensure compatibility.

I use unmatched RAM with four sticks from two different kits, everything functions properly after updating BIOS and adjusting timings. Have you made any BIOS updates? Which AgeSaga version are you using?

I didn't use just a single stick.

You recently tried Zen Timings and the Dram Calculator, and the results were satisfactory.
