The CPU is heating up to 80°C and reaching 90°C at full fan speed. I'm running the default cooler and using high-quality thermal paste.

You're checking what happens when things reach a certain level—whether it's waiting, playing, or testing performance.

Fascinating. I'm dealing with a setup that includes three fans. The 5600 model feels significantly more efficient.

Wait... I didn’t notice any plastic item at first when I bought the AMD Stealth cooler—I should double-check that.

There isn't a plastic layer on the stock cooler over the paste. It has an entire plastic cover, so you can't install with it on anyway, so no need to check.

You're asking about installing the cooler with the plastic cover, but it's not possible because that cover shields the paste.
