Hi everyone,
I'm dealing with a recurring problem on my RX 6650 XT. After updating the drivers, the screen remains black and fails to recover, even after rebooting. I've tried various fixes:
- Running DDU in Safe Mode to wipe out old drivers
- Installing the newest Adrenalin drivers (25.5.1) plus older ones like 22.11.2 and Pro Edition 22.Q4
- Downloading drivers offline so Windows doesn't auto-update
- Turning off automatic driver updates via settings

Despite these attempts, the issue continues. The system functions normally in Safe Mode or without AMD drivers, but installing any AMD driver causes the screen to go black.

System details:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
RAM: 16GB DDR4
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT
Power Supply: 750W Gold
OS: Windows 11 Pro (clean install)

Anyone else encountered this problem? Do you have any advice or suggestions? It seems like a potential hardware compatibility issue. Your input would be really helpful.

My GPU functioned properly. The issue began yesterday when I powered down my PC to eat dinner. After restarting, the problem emerged abruptly.

Recognizing the challenge, it's helpful to evaluate the GPU on another system. This can confirm if the issue persists across devices.
