Hey everyone, I own a TP-Link Archer C6 and it’s not showing the ISP speeds. I reached out to them, but they said I haven’t purchased the router from them, so they can’t assist with this issue. The connection is pulling around 70-90 Mbps for both Wi-Fi and wired links. After setup, I managed to get 300-450 Mbps, which is within that range they mentioned. My provider claims the minimum speeds are 100/200 down and up, and a maximum of 500/250 Mbps, but I’m not even seeing the minimum. I’ve tried some online settings adjustments, but it hasn’t fixed the problem.

Which provider are you using? What kind of cable is it? Are you connecting to an ISP router in modem mode or just the TP link independently?

Digi (RCS & RDS) serves as my ISP, originating from Romania. The tp link connects directly to itself via a network cable.

I would contact Digi to verify your TP compatibility with their equipment

Duplex is configured for automatic negotiation. These restrictions apply to all connected devices via the router.

Are your modem's LED indicators showing the Ethernet speed? You're looking for guidance on an Archer A7, which is currently stuck at 10mbps. On your PC connection, the gigabit light activates and you see 200mbps as advertised. You've swapped cables, reset everything, and even tried negotiating with the router, but it still doesn't work. You're considering replacing it with an ASUS router for better performance, though you're unsure if the WAN port is the issue. Upload speed appears reduced proportionally—down 14.91, up 0.79. If the problem was on the WAN port, your upload should match your download speed.

You have a modem without a separate internet cable connected to the router. Plugging the cable directly into the PC gives the speeds they advertised, but the router seems faulty—resetting it restores normal performance only briefly.
