Your router (D-Link DIR-816) isn't showing the internet connection light, even though it works when you connect your PC directly. When you link to the router via Wi-Fi, it fails to establish a connection. You've restarted and reset the device multiple times without success. Check for possible issues such as firmware updates, power cycles, or interference. Also ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected if using wired access.

The device before the DIR-816 is the upstream equipment. Have you experimented with a fresh Ethernet cable?

The Ethernet cable is okay. The issue seems to be that the router isn't connecting to the server with the correct ID and password.

This "main line" is linked to a device featuring an Ethernet connection. Your computer now has an IP address and should function similarly to before it was tied to the router.

The primary connection (from ISP) links straight to my PC without any middlemen. It’s functioning properly at the moment. Yes, I logged in using the username and password I set in the dial-up options before starting work.
