The AIO includes a USB header wire, not a pump wire. Inserting the USB wire into the pump header will damage the display on the Ryujin 360 II. Avoid giving false information if you're unsure about this. Plugging the AIO into the pump header on this model will likely destroy the unit.

I also purchased the ASUS Ryujin ii 360 and accidentally connected it to the AIO header near the CPU. I questioned why it didn’t fit, but I thought I managed to make it work. Later, I located the USB header at the bottom of the board and connected it easily. After turning on my PC, everything functioned correctly—OLED displayed properly! However, after a short while, the screen went off and the pump stopped working. Now I notice a faint buzzing sound coming from the OLED panel when power is applied.
The Ryujin II wiring guide has been revised in February to accurately display the USB 2.0 cable. The latest version is available at the provided link.
I’m returning it. I’m really devastated. My main focus was this all-strix setup, and it was the highlight of my collection. I’m not sure what to do next.

I understand it's been a while since anyone shared this discussion, but I'm sharing this for anyone who might find it useful. I purchased a Ryujin II 240 from someone who connected the USB port to a Fan/AIO header, which rendered the unit nonfunctional. After some troubleshooting, I discovered the USB 2.0 controller and a linear regulator on the display's mainboard were damaged. I swapped both components, and the display and pump resumed operation. Please note this repair involves replacing surface-mounted parts. While not everyone has the expertise, if you know someone or locate a technician, this fix might restore your AIO. These replacements typically cost around $3 before shipping and could potentially save you several hundred dollars on your CPU cooler. January 22nd, 2023 1:20am I spent hours trying to figure out why my 7900x keeps jumping past 95*C, rising higher and then shutting down at over 103*C in BIOS. The Ryojin 2 doesn’t have a 4-wire fan or pump connector—it only uses a USB header. My Rog Strix X670E-A has three USB ports on the motherboard. I plugged its case into the regular slot at the bottom right. When I connected the cooler to USB14_15, it worked instantly, the screen lit up, but the pump and fan failed. I moved it into another slot, USB16_17, and it functioned correctly. Temperatures dropped to below 40*C, the pump and fan started working, and everything was fine. I hope this helps others and avoids needing to replace board parts like this. Good luck everyone!
