I've checked the ASUS ROG Strix Z370 motherboard, and the heatsink lights stopped working after you moved your tower and unplugged the PSU. All other components like case lights, RAM, GPU lights, etc., are functioning normally. I've tried restarting the system, adjusting settings, resetting the AURA app, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and even performed a BIOS update. Still nothing seems to work. It sounds like this might be an early issue, but it's frustrating for a reliable $200 board you've owned for under a year. Any suggestions?

There could be a loose part, the heatsink has a cable that needs to be connected. Remove the heatsink and verify the cable is properly attached or that all wires and connections are secure.

It's been a few months, but have you resolved the issue? I'm facing the same situation again. Considering replacing and reinstalling the CMOS battery.

Removing the CMOS battery might not cause harm, but it could reset your device.

No problem, just restart the BIOS. Perhaps reinstalling Windows would help. I had it functioning with lights but couldn't use Aura Sync, so a fresh install was necessary.

At the end of the day it's just lights and I overlooked something someone replied to. Maybe I'm just lazy and skip it. haha

Hello, I understand the problem you're facing. The RGB lights don't activate when your PC is powered on, but they do when you turn it off. Have you tried any solutions yet? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You're still facing the same issue? I've experienced this too after two years, thinking Asus would resolve it eventually.
