It was placed near the closest CPU slots (1 and 2), then shifted to 2, 4—but it wouldn’t boot. I’m new to this, so I’ll explain. After checking more closely: first MMA 1 and MMA 2, then MMA 2 with MMB2.

The instructions suggest omitting the jumper cap and using a metal object like a screwdriver tip instead.

Yes, change the slots, short JBAT1, and power it up. This should not impact other settings. Using a screwdriver is safe if you follow proper procedures.
