I’ve experienced persistent freezing after just ten minutes of gaming for several months now, and I’m certain the problem lies with my RAM. After installing a Corsair Vengeance DDR5 4800MHz 32GB module, the issue began shortly afterward. No matter the game or launcher, it would freeze midway through or on the menu screen—sometimes twice during a Windows desktop session with nothing open. Initially, I thought it was a graphical glitch, but tests showed no errors and the system remained stable. After replacing the stock RAM, the problem disappeared completely, allowing me to play five hours straight without issues. Later, when I reinstalled the Corsair kit, the freezing returned at 8:31 into gaming. I restored the original RAM and played through the night without any trouble. Both my stock RAM and the Corsair kit are DDR5 4800MHz dual-channel, 32GB and 4800MHz respectively. Only the capacity differs—one is 16GB and the other 32GB. Are there any BIOS settings that could resolve this?
It might be just broken parts, so sending them back for replacements makes sense. But what device are you using?
