I hope the tutorial link doesn't mention msconfig. I've noticed too many people accidentally doing it, so I usually demonstrate an alternative method.

I connected the boot drive and the PC returned to normal, thankfully. DDU functioned properly; however, when I tried using the old Windows driver, it still caused stuttering.

how frequently does it stutter?
which operating system is running the game? this isn't clear if it affects performance.
are you referring to windows power modes or nvidia's power management settings?

Every few seconds around the time you play for a short while, SSD drive, Windows power settings

Try a clean boot and observe any changes—follow the guidelines carefully. Ensure no Microsoft services are disabled or Windows won’t load properly. This process doesn’t remove files, just halts non-Microsoft programs at startup, making it easier to identify the culprit. If the issue is resolved, it likely points to a startup program. Over several restarts, restart the stopped applications to pinpoint the cause. Additionally, you might adjust the GPU power settings by opening the NVIDIA Control Panel, selecting Manage 3D settings, scrolling down to Power Management Mode, and setting it to Prefer Maximum Performance before applying changes.

My GPU power configuration is set to Prefer Maximum Performance. After performing a clean boot, the issue of stutters persists.

It appears adjusting the frame rate to lower levels makes a difference, which seems to be the only thing I've noticed affecting it.

So I identified the main reason for the problem. During the siege, the temperature stays near 65 degrees, but when the stutter occurs, it falls to about 40-50 degrees.
