This was my initial PC setup and everything proceeded smoothly. I powered it on, and all systems functioned as expected. During a check, the GPU (Radeon 6650 XT) failed to appear in the system, instead relying on the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. After removing and reattaching the graphics card, power cable, power supply, and display cables, I restarted both the PC and monitor. The screen still showed "No Signal," even though connections were secure and it was set to Display Port. I repeated the process multiple times, plugging and unplugging everything carefully, but the issue persisted. I ran AMD’s cleanup tool to clear drivers and then used AMD’s autodetect utility to reinstall them. The autodetect successfully detected the card and was powered on, but it still wouldn’t show up. I attempted a driver fix by partially wiping and re-downloading, but the problem continued. The monitor would occasionally work when connected to another device, which was reassuring. Occasionally, after a full reset, the PC would briefly recognize the GPU in Device Manager but display an error (Error Code: 43). I tested using HDMI, reinstalled CMOS, and replaced RAM, yet the issue remained. The fans would spin up briefly when the PC starts, then shut off after a few seconds, and the RGB lights stayed lit. Recently, when the PC restarts after a failed driver install, the monitor would turn on fully 100% of the time. Still, it would show "No Signal" or black screens when trying to install or repair drivers. Windows specs include an Intel Core i5-12400f, a 68.2 CFM CPU cooler, MSI MAG B660M motherboard, Team T-Force Delta RGB with 2x16GB RAM, a Western Digital Blue SN550 SSD, and an RX 6650 XT graphics card. The monitor uses HDMI and supports 144 Hz display. BIOS version is 7C94v1C2. Updated June 7, 2022 by vietiscool.

We're experiencing the identical problem again. One suggestion was to update the GPU BIOS, but I moved the PowerColor 6650 XP to another machine and it resolved the issue, so I'm unsure it will help here. We're returning the 6650 XP and likely replacing it with an RTX 3060.

I'm facing the same problem too, and it's clear how much our configurations overlap. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with PowerColor's Spectral White AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT is paired with an Intel i3-12100F and MSI PRO B660M-A motherboard. I reached out to PowerColor who reported issues with MSI's 12th-gen Intel boards but gave no fixes. I also spoke to MSI who pointed the blame to the GPU. It seems the RAM might be the problem, as Alder Lake only officially supports 3200 MHz, though my system runs at 2133. EDIT: PowerColor recommended checking a different PCIe slot, but mine wouldn't fit because it's right against the cable entry point.

It’s the PCIe port! At least for me. I had to disconnect my front fan and USB connections to fit the card into slot 2, but it worked once I plugged in the drivers. It’s a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, which isn’t ideal, but it’s a fix. PowerColor shared some details about it.

I purchased the MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4 and PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT Hellhound two weeks ago and encountered this problem. I searched online but found nothing relevant. I tried everything—returning the item, updating BIOS, resetting CMOS, switching the PCIe slot to 3.0, and more. It functioned well in the 4x slot but was slow. It also worked on my previous computer. I reached out to both MSI and PowerColor, but they didn’t respond. Eventually, I bought another model and it resolved the issue.

I'm facing the same problem on a Gigabyte motherboard with the black version of the Hellhound.

I'm facing the same problem again, but with the Powercolor Fighter 6600XT. I've tried fixing it all day—switched the PSU, it only works in the top slot without drivers or in the second slot (Gen 3 x4). My GTX 970 runs perfectly on my board. Unfortunately, my board is beyond its warranty period, which is disappointing since the Powercolor Fighter was a good deal. I'm considering buying an RTX 3060 instead to avoid this issue. System specs: i3-12100f Corsair 3200 MHz 2 x 8 (16GB) CL16 MSI Pro B660M A

I recently got an MSI Mech 2X 6600XT and it operates perfectly on my system. The Powercolor card was installed in my sister’s older PC with an i7-4790 and a Gigabyte B85M board, and it also functions flawlessly there. I also updated the MSI BIOS without success with the Powercolor card, suggesting it might be a problem with that component. It’s odd since it mainly seems to impact 12th Gen MSI boards.

Hello everyone, I need to create an account here so I can keep you updated. I'm facing the same issue completely! My system has identical specs too. I've tried almost everything—reinstalling RAM, GPU, updating drivers, checking Windows updates, etc. Eventually, I had to wipe out my drivers in safe mode and install fresh ones. That's the solution that works for me. But I was wondering if you've had similar driver problems with an RX 6650 XT? Feel free to leave a comment. My setup includes: RX 6650 XT, XFX Ryzen 5 3600, Corsair 3200 MHz, 2x8 MSI X370, gaming pro carbon.

It might work by changing your top PCIe slot from version 4.0 to 3.0 temporarily.
