Long time since a fast startup was working on my system. Power settings are active. I've checked registry paths like HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System. Consider removing the hyperfile.sys file if needed.

Fast boot is a system configuration. For dual booting Linux, Windows will not offer a quick start option.

I'm referring to rapid deployment rather than quick initialization. I haven't set up a Linux system yet.
