Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with my PC that might be related to the power supply. During gameplay, the computer occasionally shuts down at random times. Restarting it seems difficult, and the only solutions are disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply or using the shutdown button for a few minutes before turning it back on. I have a high-performance PC with no overheating concerns, and temperatures for both the GPU and CPU stay within normal ranges even during demanding games. My power supply is a Corsair HX1000, and the components include a Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, an ASRock B650M Pro RS motherboard, and a Vengeance DDR5 2x16GB RAM. I’ve noticed the power supply switches to multiple modes, and I’m using the original cables. Could these cables affect the behavior?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! If you think the PSU might be the cause, consider obtaining a stable 850W power supply and check if the problem continues. During this time, you might also try moving to a different wall outlet to observe if the issue persists.

Regarding your motherboard, what BIOS version are you currently using?
