I'm not sure if this belongs to the right category because it's hard to tell whether it's the GPU or my monitor. I have two old DELL monitors from 2015—one connected via DisplayPort, the other HDMI to VGA because it lacks HDMI. It was an 80$ used monitor, and I'm not too particular. The problem started a couple of days ago. I have an MSI RTX 3060 with one HDMI and three DP ports. Currently, I can only use one display port since the other two don't recognize the monitor. It should work normally, but after unplugging everything for about two hours while cleaning the PC, then turning it back on, it worked with one port and failed again. The cable appears to be slightly loose at the plug due to cable management (the cable goes into a desk arm at a steep angle), but I'm not sure if that's the issue. Or could it be the GPU? I prefer it not to be the GPU since it's only a year old and had no problems before. I don't remember plugging it in the other two ports, but this one isn't working either. Thanks!

The most affordable and simplest option to examine first is the cable. You can purchase a DP > VGA cable for around $10 new, and it will provide valuable information.
