I just ran the startup wizard on the PFSense VM, hit the reload button, then moved to the web configurator. It says it can't connect, but pinging it shows success. I've tried several fixes—powering off and on, restarting the modem, resetting it, and even setting it up again—but it keeps failing. I tested the config on another machine and it worked there. What's going wrong? Thanks for your help—I really need the VM back online fast.

The connections are set up correctly. Is your pfSense device connected to the same network as the "LAN" interface on your router?

Em0-WAN-cable is linked to the wall and controller network, while ESXi EM1-LAN-cable connects to the physical switch and virtual switch. Both are on the same network. I attempted access from both WAN and LAN sides.

Check if nmap is available and run a scan on your pfSense internal IP to identify running services.

The interface appears correctly, yet there is still no link to the web interface.

The port appears to be active, yet there’s no interaction from the web interface. The SSH connection seems functional.
