My computer specs are 12600k, 32gb, 3080 rtx. It worked well before. I used a Samsung 860 EVO 2tb to add space and installed Windows 11. After each update, especially when installing NVIDIA drivers, the PC would freeze and become very slow. I attempted to install Windows 5 multiple ways—trying all updates first, then just NVIDIA drivers and apps. I also used DDu to clear drivers, which made the system faster again until I installed the NVIDIA drivers. I cleaned the PC with dust and other methods, hoping the GPU wasn’t damaged by the new SSD. I’m unsure if the SSD caused the issue or if my GPU was the problem. After some time, the PC would lag even on Windows 10, but I didn’t know why. I restarted it and wondered if the SSD or GPU was responsible now.
