Hey everyone! I'm facing some performance problems lately. Even after upgrading my CPU and GPU, games are running poorly compared to videos and tests. The biggest issue is with Lottery 2, Cyberpunk – I’m only getting around 60 FPS, which is way below benchmarks. I’ve looked online, watched videos, but I’m still confused about what’s causing the problem. My friend with a weaker setup is actually getting more frames than mine. I have the newest drivers and BIOS updates, everything is running at stock settings. My specs are: motherboard Asrock B450M Pro4, 2x8GB HyperX Fury 2933MHz CL16, Ryzen 7 5800X3D, GPU Asus RX 3070, 750W cooler, SSD Samsung EVO 970.

Your RAM performance is quite low. Consider running Cinebench to test your CPU under load and using HWinfo to monitor power usage. Also, what are your current temperatures?

Also, which configurations are you employing? Are you leveraging DLSS? What frame rates are you and your companion utilizing?

Sorry for leaving out the temperatures—maximum reached around 85-86°C—and I'm using 1080p resolution.

I attempted all potential options across every game I played, but still faced problems.

Your CPU is consuming more power than expected during CineBench, while Guru3D suggests it should be drawing double the amount. It might indicate a motherboard problem affecting power delivery. What cooling solution are you employing?

I'll consider a different B450 board next time, I hope it makes a difference.

Power calculations are consistent across all tests you run on it.
